Tailwaggers was born when Darran and Sally bought the business in December 2006, changed the name and gave it new direction.
Sally the groomer,qualified as a canine beautician in 1995 in South Africa. She opened her first parlour in South Africa, which became the most recommended parlour in the area. She also offered groomer training in the parlour until she left South Africa in 2001. She has had experience in training dogs since 1987 and was a member of the Cape Handlers Dog Club for some years. She has passed a course in canine training and behaviour. Sally also has kennel management experience and has been involved in breeding and showing dogs.
Darran, the knowledge in the shop, grew up in a family that bred dogs and rescued a variety of animals. He has personal experience with various pets and has attained a merit pass in canine psychology and behaviour. He has a passion for reptiles and hopes to breed from his various personal snakes.
Their commitment to providing a great service and their passion for animals, drives them to serve the community to the best of their abilities. They both love their jobs and are always on hand to answer any questions and offer advise. Their two dogs, Biskit and Craka are at work every day to greet every one who visits.
Tailwaggers is a member of the Pet Care Trust, the British Dog Groomers Association and the English Groomer Group.
